Our Mission:

LetsGetDivorced.com was created to provide a simple, low-cost divorce option to solve a big problem that many people encounter when they decide to get divorced. They can't afford to hire a lawyer to handle their divorce.
At LetsGetDivorced.com, we are dedicated and passionate about making the divorce process affordable and less stressful for everyone involved.
Divorce attorneys often charge between $250 - $500 per hour. For even a simple uncontested divorce, the costs can quickly add up to several thousand dollars — a financial burden many can't afford. While some states offer free divorce forms, completing them by hand is tedious and error-prone, leading to potential court rejections and delays. Many people need an affordable, accurate, and guided solution for their divorce process. That's where LetsGetDivorced.com comes in.

An uncontested divorce, also referred to as an amicable or no-contest divorce, is where both spouses agree on the terms of their divorce, allowing them to avoid a costly and stressful court battle over disputed issues.
With the LetsGetDivorced.com online divorce service, divorcing spouses can easily and conveniently prepare ready-to-file divorce forms online in less than an hour, for an affordable flat-rate fee of just $99 for filing an uncontested no-fault divorce without an attorney. Included with the service is access to our very helpful and friendly customer support team that can be reached by phone or email.

My Story: The Origin of LetsGetDivorced.com

Around 2012, I decided to create LetsGetDivorced.com to help solve a big financial challenge that many people encounter when pursuing a divorce — they can't afford to hire a lawyer to handle their divorce.
My vision for LetsGetDivorced.com was that it would provide a platform that offers an affordable, convenient and user-friendly online tool for people seeking to complete divorce forms for filing an uncontested no-fault divorce without an attorney.
My goal was to make this online divorce forms preparation service as simple to use and inexpensive as popular online tax preparation software like TurboTax®, which enables people to prepare and file their tax forms without the assistance of an accountant.
My expertise in creating helpful, easy-to-use, high quality software like TurboTax® was developed when I worked for over 10 years at Intuit®, the parent company of TurboTax®, which is used by hundreds of millions of people.
I combined the expertise and experience I gained at Intuit® creating easy-to-use online software, with my expertise and experience as an attorney, to develop the LetsGetDivorced.com online divorce forms preparation service.
Around that same time, my wife and I agreed to file for divorce so I used LetsGetDivorced.com for my own personal uncontested no-fault divorce. It was easy-to-use, efficient — and it worked!
When my divorce was granted, I became a satisfied "customer" of LetsGetDivorced.com.
So, I know from my own perspective as an attorney and my own personal first-hand experience of using LetsGetDivorced.com as a customer for my own divorce, that it's very easy and quick to use this low-priced online divorce service to efficiently generate ready-to-file divorce documents online, without an attorney.
