Legal Experience

Jerry Bruckner has been a lawyer for over 30 years since 1992. Jerry has broad legal experience and expertise in civil litigation including divorce, personal injury claims and insurance defense.

Author

Jerry is not only a seasoned attorney but also an accomplished author. His book, The Success Formula for Personal Growth, isn't just a testament to his insights and advice for personal development but is also a reflection of his philosophy towards life and work: that everyone can take action to better their lives, find happiness and help other people.

LetsGetDivorced.com

In 2012 Jerry decided to create LetsGetDivorced.com to help solve a big financial challenge that many people encounter when pursuing a divorce — they can't afford to hire a lawyer to handle their divorce.
Jerry envisioned LetsGetDivorced.com as a platform that provides an affordable, convenient, and user-friendly online divorce service, enabling people to complete and generate ready-to-file forms for an uncontested, no-fault divorce without an attorney. His goal was to model the service after popular online tax preparation software, like TurboTax®, which allows users to prepare and file their tax forms simply and affordably without an accountant's assistance.
Jerry's expertise in creating helpful, easy-to-use, high quality software like TurboTax® was honed when he worked for over 10 years at Intuit®, the parent company of TurboTax®, which is used by hundreds of millions of people.
While at Intuit®, Jerry had the rare honor of being selected as a speaker for its annual Technology Forum two years in a row, 2004 and 2005. There, he presented on utilizing new software technology to streamline the development of user-friendly, internet-based web applications.
Jerry leveraged the expertise and experience he gained at Intuit®, to create user-friendly online software, and combined it with his background and expertise as an attorney to develop the LetsGetDivorced.com online divorce forms preparation service.
Jerry didn't just create LetsGetDivorced.com; he also personally used its online divorce service for his own uncontested, no-fault divorce. So, based on his own firsthand experience, he knows that it is easy to use — and works. Jerry is very grateful that, for over a decade, LetsGetDivorced.com has assisted thousands of people to file a low-cost uncontested divorce, enabling them to move forward into new chapters of their lives.

Jerry's philosophy about divorce:

Believe in Your Worth: Always remember that you are a valuable person who deserves happiness and contentment.
Preserve Relationships: Aim to maintain a civil, if not friendly, relationship with your spouse after your divorce.
Embrace the Future: Progress with the confidence that you possess the power to forge a positive and happy future for yourself.
